Trip to Cincinnati

We had a really fun long weekend in Cincinnati visiting Phil's Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins. Grann also came down for the weekend. We drove down late Thursday night and William did really well in the car. On Friday, the cousins came over for lunch and birthday cake (Will was really excited) before heading to the Children's Museum. The kids had fun playing in the water, driving cars, and playing drums. Then we went home for Will to nap - which did not go well. He never fell asleep and had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. Then we all went out to dinner at the Cactus Pear. On Sunday, we made a trip to the playground and then we took Will downtown after his nap (which went much better the second day) to see the river, play on the playground down there, and just walk around. Then we had Skyline for dinner. We were up early on Sunday and got on the road. Will was a great traveler and even said (completely unprompted) "Thank you mommy and daddy for taking me to Mimi and GBob's house!"
