First Day of Kindergarten

Today was William's first full day of Kindergarten. Yesterday morning, there was a short PTO meeting and then a 30 minute period to meet your teachers and see your classroom. We got a packet of information and our first homework assignment. 

 This morning, William was up and ready to go. He couldn't wait! We did pictures on the front porch and then walked down to the bus stop. There were so many kids. William was so excited. He got right in line when the bus came and found a seat in the Kindergarten section (first 3-4 rows). Then he was off! Phil, Alex, and I hopped in our cars and drove to school so we could be there when the bus arrived. Volunteers went on each bus (there were 5) to get all the Kindergartners off. They put them in lines for each teacher. They waited until all the buses were unloaded and then were taken to their classrooms. William was first in his line and chatted with the 5th grade safety. He turned back to us a few times to smile and wave. Then walked into school without looking back. We are so excited to hear all about his day!
