Golfing in the Winter
Today was the annual "Ice Tee" on Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids. They set up holes on the ice (drilling out holes for the cups) and put out cones/flags so you can see where each hole is. Usually, they have to shovel off the ice to make the course but we had some warm weather and rain earlier this week so it was pretty clear. Despite the chilly temperatures this morning (wind chills in the single digits), Phil and a couple of his friends decided to give it a try. I stopped by to take a few photos (I did not go out on the ice, don't worry!) and my eyes were watering from the wind after just a few minutes. It looked they they were having fun!

30 Weeks!
I hit 30 weeks today so I am 75% of the way there! I hope the next 10 weeks go as quickly as the last 30! Now I have to meet with my doctor every two weeks instead of every four. At my last check-up, everything was looking good: my weight, my blood pressure, the baby's heartbeat, etc. According to the books, Baby Maguran is now about 17" from head to toe and weighs around 3lbs. The baby continues to kick and seems to like hitting my ribcage on my right hand side. Here are a few photos:

Fantasy Baseball Cafe
As most of you know, Phil is a huge baseball fan and loves to play fantasy baseball online. One of the many sites he frequents was looking for a volunteer to write articles for their website so he volunteered. Phil's first article was published yesterday and can be found at:

I added a "Fantasy Baseball Cafe" list on the right - I'll add the links to new articles as they are posted. Not that any of us will know who/what he's talking about, but it is fun to see his writing published online!
