Cancun - Day 7
We spent our final full day at the resort. Phil and I walked in the morning and then met up with the boys at the pool. Phil and Will did a water spin class and Alex and Will played in the pool for a while. We decided to have lunch at the International Buffet. After lunch, Phil and I went to the spa for massages, and the boys went to the water park. I also had a facial and the boys went bowling while I did that. We had our final dinner at the Grand Buffet because we wanted to catch the magic show at the Grand Theater. As we were heading back to our room, a storm was blowing in which was the first rain we had all week.

Cancun - Day 6
On Tuesday, we took an excursion to go snorkeling in a cenote and in an inlet. It was about an hour drive from the resort. We started with the "Mayan Sacrifice" of jumping off a platform into a cenote and then ziplined. After that, we had free time to snorkel in the outdoor cenote. Then we walked down to an underground cavern and snorkeled there which was really cool. The underground formations in the cave were neat to see. Then we had a buffet lunch before heading to an inlet where we snorkeled and saw a lot of tropical fish including parrot fish and angel fish. We got back to the resort around 4:00pm. We had a late dinner reservation at The Grille and saw a full moon and a cruise ship leaving port.

Cancun - Day 5
On Monday, I used some of our spa credits and had a massage first thing in the morning. I met the boys at the activities pool when I was done. We went to Los Tacos for lunch and Alex went back to the water park in the afternoon. We got ready for dinner and had a 7pm bowling reservation. We had dinner at Jade which was the Japanese restaurant. Our food was amazing: sushi, spring rolls, baos, wantons, teriyaki salmon (Phil), shrimp tempura (Alex), Korean BBQ ribs (Will) and spicy chicken (Kristen).

Cancun - Day 4
On Sunday, Phil and I got coffee and went for a walk around the resort (roughly 3 miles). We decided to set up at the Activities pool for the day. That pool is Olympic sized and had activites like: water spin, water aerobics, volleyball, etc. They also had a stage and there was a band in the afternoon. Phil did the water spin class and the boys threw a ball in the pool for quite a while. We had lunch at Joe's Deck and the boys got fun fruit drinks in a coconut. When the pools closed down, we went to the Lucha Libre show on the Starlight Terrace. They had a ring set up in the middle and a buffet dinner. We already had late dinner reservations, but we had a snack and enjoyed the warm-up act of Hecho en Mexico. We only got to see a bit of the wrestling before we had to get ready for dinner. Dinner was at JC Steakhouse. We had calamari and Caesar salads as an appetizer and we all ordered filets with mashed potatoes or mac and cheese as our side. It was excellent!
