Oriole Park at Camden Yards - Stadium #19

On Sunday, we drove to Baltimore to see a game at Oriole Park. It is one of our favorite stadiums so far.  The ambiance was great, the field was beautiful, and there were so many delicious food options.  Unfortunately, the Orioles lost 2-5.

 

Nationals Park - Stadium #18

We went to see a Nationals game and checked off stadium #18.  Nationals Park was not our favorite. Both the exterior and interior were pretty plain.  It was a very hot day but we lucked out that our seats were in the shade.  The one main positive was the public transportation to and from the game.  Also, Washington won 8-3.  In general, we had a great experience with the Metro while in DC.

Georgetown Campus Tour

On Saturday, all four of us took the Metro into Georgetown to do a campus tour.  I had a fun surprise - we ran into the sister of one of my best friends from elementary school on the tour with her daughter.  The campus was beautiful and we had a great student tour guide.  Will really liked it and has it ranked along with Northwestern and Michigan.  

 

Washington DC - Museums

After the tour of George Washington, Will and I went to the Washington Monument.  Then we grabbed a quick lunch (and cooled off - it was 100 degrees!) before heading to some of the museums.  Phil flew in to DC on Friday and met up with us.  Then we took the Metro back to our car so we could pick up Alex.  When we got back to the hotel, Phil and the boys walked to the Dave & Busters so the boys could play some games before the USA soccer game.
