Phil’s Baseball & Tennis Trophies

We were cleaning out the basement and found Phil’s baseball and tennis trophies from when he was young.  He didn’t want to keep them any longer but we decided to take pictures for the blog.

Big Band Bash

The middle school jazz band participated in the "Big Band Bash" tonight along with the PCHS and PNHS jazz bands. There were a lot of great raffle prizes, a silent auction, desserts and coffee, and great music. The middle school jazz ban performed twice and did a great job. I have some of the videos below (the solos/features in some of their songs are hard to hear).

Cancun - Day 7

We spent our final full day at the resort. Phil and I walked in the morning and then met up with the boys at the pool. Phil and Will did a water spin class and Alex and Will played in the pool for a while. We decided to have lunch at the International Buffet. After lunch, Phil and I went to the spa for massages, and the boys went to the water park. I also had a facial and the boys went bowling while I did that. We had our final dinner at the Grand Buffet because we wanted to catch the magic show at the Grand Theater. As we were heading back to our room, a storm was blowing in which was the first rain we had all week.

Cancun - Day 6

On Tuesday, we took an excursion to go snorkeling in a cenote and in an inlet. It was about an hour drive from the resort. We started with the "Mayan Sacrifice" of jumping off a platform into a cenote and then ziplined. After that, we had free time to snorkel in the outdoor cenote. Then we walked down to an underground cavern and snorkeled there which was really cool. The underground formations in the cave were neat to see. Then we had a buffet lunch before heading to an inlet where we snorkeled and saw a lot of tropical fish including parrot fish and angel fish. We got back to the resort around 4:00pm. We had a late dinner reservation at The Grille and saw a full moon and a cruise ship leaving port.
