Go Blue!
We had the opportunity to sit in the Alumni Association Suite at the Michigan game this weekend. The suites were really nice and it was a lot of fun to see. It was a very diferent experience from sitting with the rest of the crowd - you feel a bit removed from the action. But it was fun to do once!

Day at the Beach

Phil was in Detroit the weekend for the Michigan game and the Renaissance Festival so Will and I were on our own. On Saturday, we walked into town and then went to Rockford with Grandma and Grandpa for lunch. On Sunday, we went for another walk and picked up Starbucks and a banana before heading to the lake. Will at his banana like a big boy and then spent some time throwing rocks in the lake. It started to drizzle a bit so we had to run home pretty quickly. We watched a little bit of the Curious George Movie and then went to the zoo for a bit with our neighbors. Sunday night, we went to the Hofmeyers for a Labor Day cookout. Monday morning, we bundled up (it was only 55 degrees) and went back to the lake for another banana. The sun was out and we were able to spend a good amount of time there. Then Will wanted to run on the football field and throw pennies in the fountain before heading home. Phil got back shortly after we did and he took Will to the playground. They ran into some of our friends and played a "game" of t-ball. Then we were invited to our friends house for a pizza party - which made Will's day since they have a bounce house in their basement.
