Family Fall Fun
This morning, we drove out to Gull Meadow Farms in Richland (about 30 minutes away)... and ended up staying close to 4 hours! They had so many fun fall activities for kids. Will and Alex rode the zip line (numerous times), rode the pumpkin train, did the giant bounce pillows, climbed the hay piles, took a tractor ride, did a great corn maze (as a family), had lunch, rode the zip line some more, took another tractor ride, went on the tube slides (numerous times), visited the petting zoo, played giant bean bag toss, and went on another small train ride. It was a beautiful day! When we got home, we had a late afternoon fire and spent time in the backyard reading and playing baseball.
William has been practicing his pogo stick a lot lately and has shown significant improvement in the last 2 days. He went from a "high score" of 10 jumps to being able to jump for 2 minutes straight. He can even jump down the driveway and around the cul-de-sac. Not to be outdone, Alex has figured out how to start himself on his Mickey Bike and can go around the cul-de-sac 3+ times without having to stop.

Alex's First Day of Preschool
Today was Alex's first official day of preschool. On Monday, we had a one hour orientation with a parent. He got to find his hook in the hallway and do a scavenger hunt in the classroom. This morning, he was so excited to take "first day of school" photos on the porch with the family. And he was all smiles on the way to school. We walked into school, hung up his back pack, and found his name tag. Then he gave me a quick hug and was off! They played with play dough, the sand table, painted, had snack, and then went out to the playground. He had a great first day and is excited for his next school day.

Let's Go Blue!
On Saturday, we got up early to head to Ann Arbor for the home opener. It was also Alex's first Michigan game. We got to campus and walked around for a little bit. We made stops in the diag and by the cube. Then we went to watch the step show and have dollar dogs. Then we went into the stadium to watch warm-ups. The boys were very excited. It was a fun game and the kids did very well. After the game, we walked to Pizza House for dinner before getting on the road back home.
