Party at the Great Skate

Today was William's birthday party at The Great Skate. We had a great turn-out and even some of the parents and siblings went out on the rink.  Thanks to Grann, Aunt Maran, and Allie for making the trip.  William claims it was his "favorite birthday party yet."  

Little League Opening Day - Alex's First Tball Game

Alex had his first T-Ball game on Friday night. He did a great job. He had some decent hits and fielded a lot of balls while playing pitcher. He even threw them in the vicinity of first base!

More Birthday Fun

On Friday, we had even more Birthday fun. Grandma and Grandpa came down to pick Alex up from CHUM. Later in the afternoon, Aunt Mara and Uncle Ken came down as well. William had another mini party with them after school. He opened gifts, we had pizza, and finally cut into his cake. We have played quite a bit of frisbee in the past two days and Will tried out his sleeping bag right away.

Happy Birthday, William!

Happy 7th Birthday to William! He started the day with a birthday donut and balloons. At school, his birthday was announced on the Moor News broadcast in the morning. We brought in Truffula Tree cupcakes for his class and I was able to have lunch with him (we ordered in Jimmy John's as a special treat). After school, we went to the McDonald's with the big play area for dinner (Will's choice) and then had opened presents at home. He blew out the candles on his cake but decided he was too full for a piece.
