Last Friday, I drove down to Nashville with some friends (from 5th grade!) for a girls' weekend. It was a quick trip but it was great to spend some time with everyone. We had some delicious meals, did some shopping, walked around Vanderbilt and checked out the country music scene.
Last week, William had his open house at school. He took us on the "Royal Tour" and introduced us to his teacher. On Sunday, we went to Schultz Farm to go apple picking and also got our first cider and donuts of the season.
On Saturday morning, we drove to Ann Arbor for the Michigan football game. The day started off rainy, but we enjoyed lunch at Pizza House, a trip to the M Den to but hats for the boys, and visits to the diag and the cube. By 2pm the rain had stopped and we watched the step show before heading to the stadium. We made a quick stop to visit Aunt Maran and Uncle Josh outside the stadium and then went to our seats. It was an exciting game! After the U of M victory, we used our ticket stubs to get into the volleyball game which was very fun to see.
Alex had his first day of 4 Year Old Preschool today at Curious Kids. It was his orientation so I was able to stay for the activities. We did a scavenger hunt around his room and met a lot of his new friends. It was nice to see Mrs. LaLonde again!
We woke up to beautiful "fall feeling" day on Sunday. We took the boys to one of the local parks that has an inline hockey rink to play for a while. Then we went to Binder Park Zoo for the afternoon.
