On Saturday, we went down to Bair Lake for their family open house. The boys enjoyed the zip line, carpet ball, mini golf, the stand, and the lake front. There was a quick downpour that had us running for cover, but otherwise, it was a very pleasant day. The boys are very excited for camp this summer.

4th Grade Trip to Lansing
Today was the fourth grade field trip to Lansing. It was a long but very fun day. We got to school at 7am so the kids could get on the charter buses. Our first stop was the Capitol Building. We had a great tour through the house, senate, rotunda, and governor's office. Then we went down the road to the Michigan History Museum for about an hour and a half. Our final stop was Impressions 5 the hands on museum where the kids had lunch and got to play for a few hours. They loaded the buses at 3pm and were back at school around 4:15.

Wild Baseball Tournament
The Wild had a great baseball tournament this weekend. They lost a close game on Saturday morning to Around the Horn 6-7. But, they came back to beat Hitter's Edge 20-5. Then on Sunday morning, they beat the Portage Muskies 13-4 which earned them a spot in the Championship Game. The got to play Around the Horn again and came out on top 7-6. The boys, coaches, and parents were all so excited! Will played catcher for both full games on Sunday and also played 5 innings at catcher on Saturday. He did a great job - we think we found his permanent position.
