Pumpkin Carving

We had a lot of fun carving pumpkins and watching The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (and the World Series) last night. We are ready for Halloween!

WMU / Michigan Hockey Game

The Michigan Hockey team was in town playing WMU last night. We bought were already planning to go to the game and then Will was asked to be Flag Boy. He was able to invite a teammate and we were all able to go down into the tunnel again. It is such a fun experience. Since we were down with the WMU team, we kept on our Bronco Hockey gear from Will's game earlier in the day (they won 11-0) and cheered on Western instead of Michigan. After the hockey game, we ran home to catch the end of the Michigan football game.

Hot Air Balloons in Texas Park

This afternoon while we were in the backyard, we heard the familiar sound of a hot air balloon burner (we see them at least once a year). We ran to the park and spotted one coming in for a landing. Others in the neighborhood heard the noise as well so there was quite a crowd. They came in for a gentle landing after scraping the tops of the trees (they do this to slow themselves down right before landing) and said they were racing another balloon. Sure enough, we could spot another balloon on the horizon.

Will's Hockey Game

The 10U Bronco Brown team is off to a great start! The won their game on Sunday against the Muskegon Junior Jacks 12-3. Will scored two goals and had a nice assist to his friend Drake. They are a fun team to watch.

Gull Meadow Farm

We spent a fun afternoon at Gull Meadow Farm on Saturday: zip line, jumping pillow, corn maze (twice), apple cannons, pig races, giant tube slide, corn hole, corn box, hay ride, and donuts! It was a beautiful fall day and we always enjoys the activities they have.

Will's First Hat Trick

Will had his first game of the 2019-2020 Bronco season this morning at Lawson Arena. They played GRAHA White out of Grand Rapids and won the game 13-1. There are some really talented players on the team. Will played great - and scored 3 goals - his first hat trick. He was very excited. We are headed up to Walker for game #2 tomorrow.
