Visit to the Sharon Valley Bicycle Shop

After Will's game in Chelsea, we decided to stop in to the Sharon Valley Bicycle Shop which is owned by family (opened in the spring).  Fortunately, both Christi and Michael were there (we missed Jacques) and it was fun to surprise them. We didn't visit long but it was still nice to see them!

 

KWings Hockey

The Kwings season is in full swing. They played their first game against the Berrian Freeze and tied 4-4. It wasn't pretty but they were happy to get the tie in their first game. Then they played PSM Force on September 18 and won 14-1. On Sunday, September 19 they beat the Chelsea Chiefs 7-3. Will had two nice goals in that game (video highlights below). They beat a Jackson team 4-0 on September 20 and tied the Lakeshore Chiefs on September 26. We tied it up with 5 seconds left in the game (link to video below).  The boys are settling in to their lines and seem to be having fun!

Day Trip to the Detroit Zoo

We took a fun trip to Detroit today. We met Grann at the Detroit Zoo and spent about 4 hours wandering the exhibits. It was a beautiful morning and the animals were very active.  After the zoo, we stopped for ice cream before meeting Maran and the girls at the playground for a while.  It was so nice to see everyone!

 

KWings Hockey Party

We had so much fun at Will's final hockey team party today at the lake. There was tubing, swimming, and a lot of yard games. We are excited for practices to start on Tuesday.

 

Go Blue!

We had a great time at the Michigan vs. WMU football game! There was a very cool parachute drop before the game and a fly over. Michigan won 47-14. We walked around campus before the game and visited the diag, M Den, the cube, and the Union. We had Pizza House for dinner and then walked along Main Street before heading home. We love our Ann Arbor traditions.
