Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  We picked out our pumpkins a while ago - Will had the biggest at 30 lbs followed by Alex at 27 lbs.  We carved them on Sunday evening and decorated the porch.  Will is off with a friend to trick or treat and Alex went with a group from our block.  

Will’s First Reffing Assignment and Two Goals for Alex

Will had his first reffing assignment today and it happend to be for Alex's game. Will did call the person in charge to make sure it wasn't a conflict of interest. Will did a great job and Alex scored two goals.

Trunk or Treat

Moorsbridge held their first ever Trunk or Treat tonight.  Alex asked if we could decorate a trunk in addition to trick or treating.  So we did!  There were 40+ cars decorated and well over 600 kids in attendance.  We had 650 pieces of candy and ran out… fortunately, some families donated just candy to replenish the bowls.

School Fun

The boys have had some fun activities/opportunities at school. Will's gym class was playing disc golf and he got a hole in one!  His prize was a new disc golf disc which he was excited about.  The 8th graders also went to a career fair where they learned about different jobs and had some hands on fun.  

Alex was recently elected to student council.  On Wednesday, he was on the morning announcements letting everyone know about the U of M / MSU spirit day.  Then on Thursday, he was back on the announcements because he was the highest earning 5th grader for Road Rally.  He did a great job!
