Disney - Day 3

Our final day of vacation started at the Magic Kingdom.  The boys ran and did Space Mountain and then we did the Jungle Cruise (our first time).  Next up was Pirates of the Caribbean and Thunder Mountain before riding the carousel before lunch.  Then we did Tomorrowland Speedway before Phil and Will left for Hollywood Studios.  Will really wanted to do the Tower of Terror and ride the gondolas to Epcot.  So they did that and Alex and I rode the people mover, Astro Orbiter, teacups, and Thunder Mountain.  Then we met back up with Phil and Will for one last Haunted Mansion and Buzz.  They were able to get virtual queue spots for Tron again.  Then we had ice cream and rode the people mover while the fireworks were going on.  It is a family tradition for our final ride to be It’s a Small World so we did that before heading back to the hotel.  It was a great week!

 

Disney - Day 2

We started our second day at Disney by taking a shuttle to the Animal Kingdom.  We were able to get in 30 minutes early and went straight to Avatar: Flight of Passage which can have up to a 2 hour wait.  We only had to wait about 30 minutes.  Next, we went to the Kilimanjaro Safari.  The animals were all very active since it was still early in the morning.  We saw: black rhinos, white rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, giraffes, lions, and many more.  Then we went over to Everest so the boys could ride the roller coaster a few times.  Then we did some of the animal walks, had lunch, and walked around the Tree of Life.  At 1:30, we took a shuttle to Epcot.  The boys had lightning passes to donGuardians of the Galaxy again.  We also did Living with the Earth, Nemo, Journey into Imagination, and Spaceship Earth.  Phil and Will did Test Track.  Then we walked around the World Showcase before heading back to the hotel.  

 

Disney - Day 1

Our first day at Disney was a great one.  We started the day with early access to the Magic Kingdom at 8:30. We rushed right over to Space Mountain so the boys could get that done before the line got too long.  Then we spent the rest of the morning/early afternoon riding Buzz Lightyear, Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tomorrowland Speedway, and the People Mover (some rides several times).  The boys lucked out and got in the virtual queue for the new Tron ride which they were able to ride around 3pm.  Then we grabbed ice cream before heading to Epcot.  They got lightning passes for the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride there.  Before their window, we road Soarin’ and Nemo.  We had dinner reservations at one of the Italian restaurants in the World Showcase.  Then we went back to the Magic Kingdom because we had extra magic hours until 1am since we were staying on property.  We rode Pirates of the Caribbean and Thunder Mountain again.  Alex crashed at 11:30 and we walked back to the hotel.  Phil and Will stayed and rode Space Mountain and the mine ride.  They came back around 12:30.
