Happy Halloween!

It was a snowy Halloween this year but it didn't stop the boys from having lots of fun.  Alex went to one of his hockey teammate’s house to trick or treat with some friends.  Will and a group of friends went around Applegate.  It was our first year that we were both home to hand out candy while both boys went out with friends.  The weather definitely reduced the number of trick or treaters we had but we still had over 100 kids.

 

Fall / Halloween Fun

After Will’s hockey game (they beat Fox 2-0), we went to Gull Meadow Farms to do the corn maze and other farm activities.  It was pretty chilly but it was the last day they were open for fall activities and we wanted to check it off our list.  When we got home, we carved pumpkins and watched “The Great Pumpkin.”  

 

Hockey Halloween Parties

Both boys had team Halloween parties on Saturday night.  At Alex’s, they carved pumpkins, played football, played on the playground, had s’mores, and played hide and seek tag.  At Will’s, they had a catered taco bar and got to go through the over-the-top haunted house one of the dads built in his basement.

The boys had back-to-back home games at Wings West  on Saturday and Will reffed Alex’s game.  Unfortunately, they both lost. But it was nice to be able to see both games and not have to travel.

Mustang Mania

Alex had “Mustang Mania” today at the Dome in Schoolcraft.  Phil volunteered so he was able to take some photos of all the fun.
