Outdoor Winter Wonderland

The KWings participated in the Chicago Winter Wonderland tournament in Rosemont, IL.  All games were played at two outdoor rinks.  Our hotel was walking distance to the Parkway Bank Arena where we played on Friday night.  It was in the middle of an entertainment district and it was fun for the boys to play outside under the lights.  On Saturday, they played at a different outdoor rink in Niles, IL.  It was another neat rink.  Unfortunately, we went 1-1 in pool play and ended up in the consolation game.  So we played Sunday morning at the Parkway Bank rink again.  It was a fun and memorable weekend for the team!

iFly Indoor Skydiving

Alex didn't play until 4:30pm on Saturday so we decided to try indoor skydiving. One of his teammates decided to join us and they had a great time.  Afterwards, we had a great lunch at Crust Brewing Company and then Alex was able to hang out with teammates at the hotel before heading to the rink.

 

7th Grade Band Concert

Tonight was the 7th Grade pre-festival concert (festival is March 6). They did great!

 

Happy Early Birthday, Will!

Will received his very generous birthday gift from Grandma today. He has been teat driving and researching cars for a while and finally decided on a Subaru Outback. Phil found one in Lafayette, IN so we deove down to gwt it today. Will will have lots of time to practice with it before his birthday in April:

 

Muskies vs Eagles

The Muskies beat the Eagles last night 6-3. Here are some of the professional photos from the game. Also one of Will, Noah, and Ari who played many years of travel hockey together.

 

Portage Mustang Shootout 2025

Alex had the Portage Mustang Shootout this weekend.  He shot 3D on Friday night at PCMS and then shot bullseye on Saturday morning at PCHS.  He shot a 229 for 3D and a 246 for Bullseye.  He was pretty happy with his scores.
