Memorial Weekend Fun

We had a fun Memorial Weekend. On Saturday morning, Will had a double header against Harper Creek. They won both their games with score of 4-0 and 13-0. After their games, Phil and Will went to Detroit for the Tigers' game. Alex played with friends in the neighborhood while I finished some planting in the afternoon. Then we ordered in dinner and watched a movie. On Sunday afternoon, we drove to St. Joe to walk the pier, walk around town, and have dinner at Silver Beach Pizza. On Monday, we did some yard work and relaxed.

 

7th Grade Spring Band Concert

Alex had his spring band concert tonight. The 7th grade band played two songs and then did one song combined with the 8th grade band. After the show, we made our traditional stop at Y'OPA.

 

Fun in Louisville

When Alex wasn't shooting, they wxplored Louisville. They walked the pedestrian bridge across the river, explored Old Town, found a fun place for dinner, and went to Churchill Downs.  

 

NASP Archery Nationals

Phil and Alex went down to Louisville for the 2025 Eastern Nationals tournament.  Alex qualified to shoot both 3D and Bullseye this year.  He shot his personal best in 3D with a score of 262.  He shot a 242 for bullseye.  

 

Staff Appreciation Week

We had a “Wicked” theme for staff appreciation week at school.  The PTO spoiled us with breakfast, a popcorn bar with beautiful cookies, lunch from Shawarma King with an Italian soda bar, a candy bar, and make your own banana splits.  

 

Happy 5th Birthday, Winger!

We celebrated Winger’s 5th birthday today with presents, a pup cup, and a couple long walks.  He was a happy dog.
