Happy 3rd Birthday, Alex!

Happy Birthday to our sweet Alex! He woke up all smiles and knew it was his birthday. We started the day with a blueberry pancake breakfast under some Thomas the Train decorations. After breakfast, he opened a couple of gifts from us as well as an amazing wooden shark made by Uncle Art. Alex's big gift was a baseball pinball game. He loves the one the Hofmeyer's have at their cottage. Alex had his choice of where we went for lunch today. He chose the McDonald's with the two story play area. The boys played for quite some time both before and after lunch. Then we came back home to have a little cake. Alex requested a Thomas the Train cake which we will have at his family party tomorrow but we needed to have some cake for his actual birthday, too! Now the boys are watching a Thomas movie and may go to the WMU basketball game tonight.
