We made it!

On Saturday morning, we got up early and finished our drive to the beach. We stopped for groceries and arrived at the house around 2:30 - the cleaning crew was just finishing up so we were able to get in and get settled. It didn't take long for the boys to hop in the pool. Then we went down to the beach while we waited for everyone else to arrive. The cousins were so excited to see each other and we were able to celebrate Allie's 6th birthday with ice cream cake before bed.

We left for Clearwater on Thursday morning and had a few stops planned along the way. Since we were going to be driving through Cincinnati around lunch time, we made a quick pit stop at Mimi and G-Bob's and were able to get Skyline for lunch. Then we drove to Atlanta for the night. On Friday, we took the MARTA into downtown Atlanta and met Uncle Art at the Georgia Aquarium and went out to lunch. We were going to do the World of Coca-Cola, but the lines were really long due to Good Friday. We decided to skip that and went for a train ride instead. Then we drove to Sun Trust Park for the Braves game (stadium #7). The area around the stadium was really cool - the boys were able to play a little stick ball in the street before we went into the stadium. It was a beautiful night for a game. Then we drove about an hour south of the park to spend the night before continuing on to the beach.

Moorsbridge Math Night

We went to Math Night at school last night. The second through fifth graders have spent the past few months learning new math games once a week and competing against other classrooms. Last night they got to show off the board games they had learned and also got to play some fun games that were set up around the gym. Once you had visited all the stations, you got to try the Virtual Reality machine they had brought in. It was a fun night!

Rumble in the Jungle

Today was Alex's Rain Forest program at school. They acted out a story and also sang a few songs. You may recognize it from when Will was in Kindergarten:  William's Rumble in the Jungle

A funny note: I put out an orange shirt with a dart frog on the front for Alex to wear today to go along with the tropical theme. He decided to wear green instead. Apparently, I had the same thought three years ago because William was wearing it. At least I'm consistent.

Moorsbridge Mother-Son Night at the KWings

The boys and I went to the KWings game on Saturday for the Moorsbridge Mother-Son event. We had so much fun! They were giving away free jerseys to the first 1,000 kids and it was also "Mascot Madness" night. We had a great turnout: over 225 from Moorsbridge.
