The boys and I have been keeping busy. Will was supposed to have a "read-in" at school one of the days last week so we recreated the read-in at home. We got cozy in the family with a lot of books, turned on the fireplace, and had some snacks. That kept us buys a good chunk of the day. We also played multiple rounds of Hogwarts Battle. Each game takes around 1.5 hours to play and we played 3-4 times per day. We did manage to get outside on Monday (for quite a while in the afternoon) and Tuesday (just short little spurts). By Tuesday, the snow pile in the cul-de-sac was huge so they did a little sledding followed by hot chocolate. On Wednesday, I braved the cold to get a bowl full of snow for snow ice cream. On Thursday, the boys made themselves U of M fleece blankets. We also ventured out of the neighborhood so Will could participate in a Battle of the Books mock battle. The actual battle is on February 11. We are looking forward to warmer weather this weekend and getting back to school next week.
