Bronco Tournament in Ludington
Will's Bronco hockey team had a great time in Ludington this weekend at their first tournament of the season. They were Fenstermacher Tournament Champs! Phil and Will drove up on Friday night and got settled in the hotel before their first game at 8:30 pm. They beat the Muskegon Junior Jacks 9-0. On Saturday, they played their second game at 11:30 and beat the Walker Hawks 10-2. Then they went back to the hotel for a team lunch and some relaxation. Alex and I stayed in Kalamazoo so he could play in his hockey games on Saturday morning and attend a birthday party for a classmate. Then we drove to Ludington in time to watch their third game at 6:30pm. This game would determine if the Broncos advanced to the Championship game or played a consolation game on Sunday. They defeated the Lakeshore team 5-1. We all went back to the hotel for a team dinner and the boys were able to play and swim for a while. The championship game was against the GRAHA team. The boys played hard and won 7-2. Will played really well and even scored a goal in the championship game. They were so excited to received their team and individual trophies. Here are just a few of the photos from this weekend. I love the celebration shots!
