Beach Day

Phil took the day off so we could go to South Haven as a family. We got to the beach around 9:30 - before it got crowded. We found a nice spot with a lot of distance between us and other beach-goers. The water was 74 degrees and very calm. We had a fun morning building sand castles, throwing the football, swimming, and jumping off the dunes. At 1:30, we packed up. The main beach area was starting to fill up. We dropped our stuff at the car and walked into town. We ordered sandwiches and ate in a park. Then we walked out on the pier before heading back to Kalamazoo.
