On Saturday, we got up early and drove to the Platte River Beach. Unfortunately, we were only there for a short amount of time before the storms rolled in. The boys were able to float down the river a few times and chase some seagulls before we decided to head back to the car. We had lunch at the cottage and then did a little shopping: books store, Candle Factory, Candy World, Enerdyne, and Brain Storm. Then we stopped for ice cream at Moomer's. When we got back to the cottage, we waited for the weather to clear up and then went fishing on the boat. Will caught two little fish but Alex didn't have any success.
