The boys have been asking for a dog for many years. We finally decided to add one to our family after Will typed a very convincing essay explaining why we should have a dog. We knew we wanted a rescue pup and have been looking for a while. We were turned down for several because we don't have a fenced in yard and many were adopted before our applications were even reviewed. But, we finally were approved and found "Tot" at the Animal Rescue Project in Kalamazoo. We went for a quick meet and greet on Friday but couldn't hold him because he was in quarantine until Saturday morning (came from another shelter). He is a terrier mix and is approximately 4 months old.
