Platte River, Moomers, and Fishing

We took advantage of the beautiful forecast and decided to spend the day at the Platte River Beach.  Phil and Will decided to do a two hour kayak trip and Alex and I set up shop at the end of the river at Lake Michigan. Once they were done kayaking, they joined us at the beach. The boys had fun hunting for rocks and floating down the river. After the beach, we went to Moomer’s for ice cream.  Then we went back to the cottage and had our most successful fishing outing other. We finish the night with a campfire and hotdogs.
