Summer 2024 - Week 5

This week, Alex had baseball and Will had summer hockey on Wednesday night.  On Friday morning, Will and I drove to Milford for his baseball tournament.  They played two games on Friday (tied 1-1, won 6-0).  Grann came to watch the first game.  We had dinner at the hotel and the boys swam and hung out.  Alex had his Championship Little League game Friday night and then had a team dinner afterwards.  On Saturday morning, Phil and I switched places (passing each other on I-94) so he could go to the Tiger’s game with the team and coach on Sunday.  They saw an amazing game.  The Tigers came back from a 4-9 deficit in the 9th inning to send it to extra innings.  They won on a walk-off home run.  They met up with friends at Hockey Town Cafe before the game and went out with teammates after.  Then back to the hotel for more fun.  While they were in Detroit, Alex and I assembled his new full bed frame (still waiting for the mattress to arrive Monday).  We also went downtown to a gaming restaurant and to an ice cream social that was set up on the mall.  We saw a white tailed squirrel while we were downtown.
