Alex's First Time on the Ice

Alex has been patiently watching William at skating every Tuesday night since last fall. He has been asking when he gets to take lessons. Recently, he found out that you have to be at least three years old to start classes. He proudly announced that he was three and he wanted to give it a try. Last night was his first class. He was so excited! There were definitely a lot of falls, but he kept getting up. There was actually a fair amount of improvement from start to finish. He was pretty tired after the class but said he had a good time!

Last Day of Kindergarten

Today is William's last day of Kindergarten! It has been a great year but we are looking forward to a fun-filled summer!

One last wave...

Camp Out!

On Friday night, the boys had their first backyard camp out of the season. And this was Alex's first time sleeping in the tent. He was so excited. We set up the tent, grilled hamburgers and roasted marshmallows around the campfire. The boys slept really well and made it through the night!

Kindergarten Graduation

Today was William's Kindergarten Graduation. They had a very nice ceremony at school. Everyone had their name called and they got to walk across the stage to shake hands with their teacher. Then they performed four songs and there was a slide show of photos from the year. After some photo ops, we enjoyed cake before coming back to the house. The boys decided they wanted to go swimming so we took them to the pool for a quick dip. Then we had a taco dinner (Will's choice) on the patio.
