Pirates Game

On Saturday, we took a break from the mountain fun and went into Pittsburgh for the Pirates game so we could check off another stadium on our list. We got into town a few hours before the game, so we walked out to Point State Park to see where the three rivers met up. Then we walked to Primanti Brothers to try one of their famous sandwiches with french fries on it. Then we went to the stadium to explore and the kids chose their little bat souvenirs. We had a beautiful view from our seats - too bad the Pirates lost.

Seven Springs Resort

We had a great time at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. There were so many fun activities we were able to try: unlimited chair lift rides, alpine slide, alpine tower, disc golf, summer tubing, EuroBungie, rock walls, paddle boats, bowling, indoor mini golf and the pools. Our two favorite outdoor activities were the Alpine Tower and the Alpine Slide. The boys each climbed the tower three times alternating between the easy and medium difficulty. They both did a great job - no fear! The Alpine Slide was a blast - I can't remember how many times we went down the mountain. We would definitely recommend the location and might even go back again at some point.

Seven Springs Water Wheel

WPLL All Stars - Game 3

The boys played their third and final game tonight against Vicksburg. Despite two short rain delays after the first and second innings, we were able to get the full game in. The boys played great and won! William played first base every inning and made some great catches. They even got a double play! He also made it through the entire season without striking out. We are so proud of him and the team. Grann picked an exciting game to come watch!

Swim Lessons - Week 1

The boys just finished a successful first week of swim lessons. It's amazing how much progress they can make in a week!
