Although the holidays look and feel different this year, we are still checking off most of our holiday traditions. The boys had their snowman breakfast and also went on a candy cane hunt. Will's hockey team purchased toys to donate to the Bronson Children's Hospital and we walked around our neighborhood looking at Christmas lights.

Cone of Shame
Winger was neutered on Wednesday and has been wearing a cone since then. He certainly doesn't love it but does tolerate it pretty well. We give him breaks every day but he does start licking after a while. Hopefully the stitches will dissolve in another day or two and we can ditch the cone. He has been sleeping with the cone in his bed in our room (not in the crate) and hasn't had any issues.

We went downtown to have a socially distanced visit with Santa and to check out the decorations on the mall and in Bronson Park.

Happy Hanukkah!
We celebrated the first night of Hanukkah with a nice dinner (brisket, turkey, homemade challah, apple sauce, potato pancakes, matzo ball soup, cookies, and jelly donut holes), gifts, and lighting the menorah. The boys received a fun hockey game (similar to corn hole) from Grann and generous gift cards from Aunt Maran and Uncle Josh. We gave them their new calendars for the year (Zelda for Alex and National Parks for Will), Garfield books, and a new video game. Winger even got some new toys from Grann which he loved!

Gingerbread Houses
Today was gingerbread house day. The boys really look forward to this every year and their creations are becoming more elaborate.
