Coffee and a New Bike

Phil was out of town this weekend, so William and I were on our own. I actually had the day off on Friday so we had a nice long weekend. On Friday morning, we went to Meijer for some major grocery shopping. Once the rain stopped, we were able to play outside for a while before nap. Then we met Grandma and Grandpa (no longer Ahma and Ahpa) for dinner. Then Aunt Katie came over to play for a bit and work on Will's birthday cake after he went to bed. On Saturday, we ran a couple quick errands in the morning and then spent almost 2 hours at the playground. We ran into two friends from high school with their kids which made the outing even more fun. After lunch, Will helped me with some yard work (he's great at putting leaves in the bags) and then went down for a long nap. Then we went to our friends house for a pizza party. There were four little ones there and they had fun sitting at the kid-sized picnic table, playing t-ball, and sneaking bunny cookies off the counter. On Sunday morning, we walked into town to grab Starbucks and pick up a few items we forgot at the grocery store. Daddy got home around 11 and we walked back up to Gaslight to have lunch before stopping at the playground again. After nap, we tried out Will's new bike that Aaron and Sammy gave him.
