Alex's birthday party is scheduled for the weekend, but we had a nice family day. There were balloons waiting for Alex at breakfast and we met Phil for lunch. We had tacos for dinner and then a small Thomas cake. Alex also got some nice gifts. All in all, I think he had a pretty good birthday. He liked saying he was two years old.
His 2 year check-up isn't until later this month, but here are a few of his milestones:
- He is talking in 4-5 word sentences
- He can recognize the first half of the alphabet and can almost sing his ABCs
- He is sleeping in a toddler bed and using a blanket
