Spring Fever

We are officially "over" winter around here. Mother Nature may still throw us some cold (and dare we say it...snowy) weather, but we have our pansies planted, the picnic table is out, and the bikes are tuned up. Alex is pretty much attached to his bike when he is outside. The other day, I think he rode it for 4+ hours (not exaggerating!). We go for actual bike rides around the neighborhood but he is also content to just ride in the driveway and cul-de-sac. Our driveway turns into the local roller hockey rink almost every day after school. The kids have even found a way to let Alex in on the fun. Whenever someone scores a goal, Alex gets to ring his bell. They also have him drop the ball (from his bike) for the face-offs. William seems to have his Rollerblades on from 4pm - 6pm and then will often go out again after dinner.
