Grann came up on Friday afternoon for a visit. On Friday night, we went back to Moorsbridge for the Fall Harvest Festival. The boys had fun playing games, running around with their friends, and dancing to the DJ. We had hockey on Saturday morning followed by extremely cold (snowflakes were in the air!) family photos. Then we had lunch at One Well before heading home to watch the end of the Michigan game. We carved pumpkins on Saturday night which was a lot of fun. Then we had hockey Sunday morning followed by brunch.
The boys had a fun half day at school. They both had their Halloween parties and then had their Halloween Costume Parade. Then we had their Fall Harvest Festival in the evening.
After hockey on Saturday, the boys and I went to Grand Rapids for a visit and to see how Grandpa was doing post surgery. We had a nice visit and even ventured out to the pumpkin patch.
Between hockey practices, trips, and crummy weather we hadn't made it out to Gull Meadow Farms yet. So, the boys and I decided to head out there after school today. The activities were open from 4-8pm and we shut the place down. They had fun in Pumpkin Lane riding the zip line, playing in the corn box, jumping on the giant pillow and doing the obstacle course. We had cider and donuts and went for a wagon ride. We also completed the corn maze before heading to the "Back 40" for the tube slides and pig races. It was a fun evening!
