5+ Inches of Rain in Kalamazoo

Last weekend, it started raining at about 4am on Saturday morning and it did not stop until after noon on Sunday. It was a constant rain and at times we had thunderstorms. The boys put a small bucket (5" tall) in the driveway and it filled up very quickly. They said we had over 5" of rain which we believe! We had huge puddles in the yard and the water was so high in one of our neighborhood ponds that the surrounding trees were under water.
