Suttons Bay in the Winter

Phil and I spent a fun weekend in Traverse City and Suttons Bay last weekend. We drove up early Friday morning. We stopped for lunch at Bay Breads before heading to our property. It was sunny and cold but the view was still beautiful. We found some of the hidden property markers since they weren't hidden by tall grasses and leaves. Then we went into Suttons Bay before heading back to Traverse. We did a little shopping and had dinner at Mama Lou's. On Saturday, we went to the Builders' Expo which was at the Grand Traverse Resort. We met a few builders that are now on our short list and learned it wasn't too early to start the design process. It was much colder on Saturday but we still did a little bit of walking and then went to Jolly Pumpkin for dinner. On Sunday, it was very cold and snowy but we went back to the property with some orange gorilla tape to mark the posts. We hope it will make them easier to find in the spring/summer. After brunch at the 45th Parallel, we drove back home.
