First Day of School

Today was our first day of school.  Both boys had a great day!

 

Hot Air Balloon Festival

We had fun at the Hot Air Balloon Festival at Gull Meadow Farms. Unfortunately, it was too windy for the balloon to fly but they were able to "glow" for us. It was fun to see them all!

Arvesta Farms Water Park

The boys and I went to a fun outdoor water park near South Haven today.  They have a giant "Wibit" obstacle course, a beach area, and water slides into the lake.  They also had a cable wake boarding area, pickle ball courts, and kayak rentals.  The boys played for 5 hours on the obstacle course and water slides.  They probably would have stayed longer but it was 95 degrees and I decided we all had enough sun.  We will be back next summer!

7th Grade Orientation

Will had his 7th grade "orientation" today.  We had 45 minutes to pick up his schedule, find his locker, and walk the building.  He had no trouble with his locker and the shelf we bought for 5th grade graduation worked!  He also added a Tigers and Red Wings magnet.  It was really fun to see the building.  Each floor has a learning pod and all the classrooms face that area so students can work there during class.  He's ready!
