This summer, the boys and I visited all eight Portage elementary schools so we could determine which had the best playground. We discovered that the boys really like a playground that has a traditional play structure with slides, towers, etc. but that also has a good obstacle course set-up. They like to be timed (of course!) and they add penalty seconds if you fall and touch the ground.
