Up North - Day 4

Even though the weather wasn’t great, we decided to head to the Platte River Beach.  It was overcast and windy so we just walked the beach and collect rocks.  Then we had a picnic lunch before heading to Sleeping Bear Dunes.  Alex really wanted to climb the 450’ dune at the overlook.  We managed the climb in 18 minutes - we were pleased!  We stopped for ice cream at Bud’s on the way home and then went out on the boat to fish.  It was really windy which made fishing difficult so we went for a boat ride instead.  We finished the day with dinner at Oaky’s in Interlochen.
