We left Breckenridge around 10am on Friday. We got into Denver around 11:30 and walked to Coors Field. They opened the gates at noon so we were able to spend two hours walking around the stadium, watching batting practice, and getting the boys' mini bats. It was a really neat stadium - very different from Kauffman! It was so cold - 37 degrees and snowing. It tied for the second coldest home opener in Rockies history. We only stayed for the first inning - in part because of the weather but also because we were planning to drive through the night to get home. The Rockies ended up losing in extra innings.
Mile High Seats
The fountain in the outfield and bullpens were so pretty
