Alex has been growing his "hockey hair" out for about a year and a half. Earlier this spring, he decided he was ready to get it cut. He was tired of combing out the knots and also knew he would be hot playing this summer. We had an appointment scheduled for March 24 but on March 22, all salons were forced to close. The restrictions in Michigan have been easing up, however, as of this morning we did not know when salons would be able to open. We decided to take a field trip to Indiana for a haircut. Of course, after we made our plans, we learned salons could open after June 15 but we decided not to wait. Alex looks like a new boy! It will take some time to get used to his short hair but he seems really happy with it.
Today would have been the Moorsbridge Spring Carnival. The boys have always really enjoyed attending so we decided to make our own carnival at home. We used supplies, snacks, and prizes we had at home. The only thing I had to purchase was cotton candy. It was a fun evening!
