Traverse City - Day 1

On Wednesday morning, we dropped Winger at Grandma's house and drove up to Traverse City. Although we couldn't stay at the cottage due to a plumbing issue, we did stop by and went for a boat ride around Duck Lake.  Then we went into Interlochen and had lunch at Oaky’s before heading to the Grand Traverse Resort.  We checked into our room and let the boys explore the grounds and amenities a bit.  Then we decided to go to Pirates Cove to play 36 holes (both courses) of mini golf.  It was a nice evening for it and we got a lot of hole in ones!  After golf, we went back to the resort and the boys swam in the indoor pool for a while.  They used the water slide, Alex climbed the lily pads, and they played basketball for quite a while.  We wrapped up the night with a late night pizza and cards at the hotel bar.
