Traverse City - Day 2

On Thursday morning, we let the boys sleep in a bit while we walked around the golf course.  Then we all drove to the tip of Old Mission Peninsula to walk the beach and hunt for Petoskey Stones and hike the trails.  Then we went into town for sandwiches at Folgarelli’s.  Next we went back to GTR and changed into swim suits to go to their beach club on East Bay.  It was relaxing to sit and read while the boys played in the pool.  Alex waded out to the water trampoline but the seagulls had left it pretty messy.  After the beach, we drove up to Hop Lot to listen to some live music and played cards.  On our way back to town, we stopped at the Dairy Lodge so the boys could get ice cream.
