8th Grade Trip to DC/Gettysburg - Day 3

On their final day in DC, they went to the Library of Congress, the Capitol Building, MLK Memorial, FDR Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial.  The weather was fairly stormy in the afternoons, so they weren’t able to visit the Lincoln Memorial or Washington Monument.  The area around the White House was completely blocked to pedestrian traffic due to the UFC fight.  They wrapped up their trip at Smokey Glen Farm with a cookout and outdoor games/activities.  We picked Alex up from the farm so we could stay in DC a few more days.
