Deer - 1, Phil’s Car - 0

Phil and Alex got up early to drive to Milan for the first game Sunday morning. They were about 40 miles away in Marshall, MI when a deer ran in front of them and smashed the front of Phil's car. Phil and Alex were both fine, but unfortunately, the car was not. One of Alex's coaches was on the road still and was able to stop to pick him up and got him to the game on time. Phil called the police and insurance while I packed up and drove to get him. We waited until we knew the Muskies won their first game before driving to Milan to meet up with them. Phil's car was just shy of 200,000 miles and will probably be "totaled" by the insurance company.  So now he has to start looking for a new car.
