COVID 19 - Social Distancing - Day 4

Happy St. Patrick's Day! And Happy Day 4 of Social Distancing. We started the day bright (well, really still dark) and early. The boys had to check their leprechaun traps. Unfortunately, they didn't catch a leprechaun but one did fall into their traps and left them some chocolate coins and gold sequins before he escaped. Today was Phil's first day working from home. He decided to set up in our bedroom so we would still have access to the family computer and keyboard while he was working. our neighborhood has a community facebook group. Someone had posted an idea to hang shamrocks in our windows so while we were out for walks we could hunt for them. The boys and I realized most people walk on our trails and wouldn't see a lot of the shamrocks in windows. So we cut out and laminated 20 shamrocks which we hid along the trail. It was so fun to see everyone out hunting for them during the day! While we were out hanging the shamrocks, we found some leprechaun gold along the trail near the pool. Although it was fairly cold in the morning, the sun came out in the afternoon so the boys were outside from about 2-6:45. Since we didn't have to rush home from school/work only to head out to a lesson or practice, I decided to make fresh pasta. The boys helped me cut the spaghetti and we also had homemade Bolognese and garlic bread. Not exactly a traditional St. Patrick's Day feast but it was delicious! In Coronavirus news, the number of cases in Michigan has increased to 65.
