The 10U Bronco Brown team is on their way to the MAHA State Championship in Trenton, MI. They got to ride to the tournament in style thanks to one of the families on the team. The boys, siblings, and a few parents had fun on the bus. They had "Miracle" playing on the TVs, they played video games, and enjoyed Jimmy John's sandwiches and snacks. The rest of the parents decorated their cars and were onsite to see them get off the bus. We arrived in time for the Opening Ceremonies which included performances from the Trenton figure skating team, a ceremonial puck drop by the mayor, and team introductions. There were three state tournaments taking place in Trenton this weekend: 10U AA, 10U A, and 10U B (which we were in) so there were a lot of kids! Each team had a banner hanging from the ceiling and each player received a drawstring bag with a program and snacks. It was a great way to kick off an exciting weekend!
